Adopt-A-Stream Program and Funding Guide

The Nova Scotia Salmon Association Adopt-a-Stream Program is now accepting applications for fish habitat restoration projects

• The funding is provided by the Nova Scotia Sportfish Habitat Fund
• Funding is available to all groups in Nova Scotia who wish to undertake fish habitat restoration projects.
• Proposals should be into the NSSA by February 15 th to ensure the project can be reviewed, funded and completed within the year.
• Applications will be accepted at any time. Those not funded this year will be held on file for future consideration.
• All projects must be completed before the fiscal year-end (March 31)
• Technical support for project development and design will be available.
