 Upstream is the official newsletter of the Nova Scotia Salmon Association and, along with this website, is our way of conveying pertinent information about the Association and the actions we are taking in addressing the needs and issues affecting wild Atlantic salmon and trout. Upstream is published twice each year, spring and winter, and has a circulation of 1,000 copies to membership, Affiliates Associations, Government and industry. Members and Affiliates are always encouraged to provide articles conveying local information such as issues being addressed, fishing news and other interesting stories. If you or your organisation wishes to advertise in Upstream, or submit an interesting article about an angling technique or product, fishing adventure or simply to pontificate on the state of the salmonid kingdom, then Upstream is the place for you. Deadlines for articles are usually by April 30th for the spring issue and November 30th for the winter issue. The NSSA board reserves the right to make final article selections based on content and suitability of material for publication in Upstream.
